This Christmas season, HOME plan to teleport you back to the glory days of fishnet stocks, neon, and Bruce Springsteen. Holding a free disco (yes, free), inspired by the disco sequence in Back to the Future, 50s Rockefeller will be playing from 6pm onwards. However, when the clock strikes 10:04- the moment that the clock tower in the movie is struck by lightning- the disco will turn new romantic and 1980s pop until late. Home are also hosting a screening of Back to the Future – booking essential here – film itself will be playing and booking is advised. Lastly, Undersea Bar Tropical will be serving a wide variety of themed food and drink including mac’ n’ cheese and diner style hotdogs. For all those avid Back to the Future fans, the event will also include the iconic DeLorean itself outside in Tony Wilson Place. Simply magical stuff.
