A host of writing talent from Manchester Met will explore feminism when Bad Language comes to the International Anthony Burgess Foundation. An Evening with MMU Writers features winners of the Bridport Prize, Not the Booker Prize and a British Fantasy Award presenting pieces inspired by the theme of gender and sexuality. Northern Quarter literature night Bad Language, winner of UK Best Spoken Word Night, has teamed up with university research collective Feminisms in Public for an academic spin on the night. Names include Vile Bodies photographer and novelist Sue Fox, winner of the Manchester Cathedral Poetry Competition Rachel Davies, and Faber New Poet Zaffar Kunial. Entry is free, and registration is required.
