Band on the Wall and Smithfield Tavern have teamed up on a swansong (on Swan Street) to the second edition of Manchester Beer Week, with craft ale galore and a super-strength line-up of live music. Psychedelic classic rock revivalists Good Foxy are the headlining act, supported by barrels of the best performers from Manchester and beyond as part of a bill that includes Cinematic Orchestra bassist Hunrosa, Pyramids and La Mode. Lancaster’s Molly Warburton tops a list of singer songwriters at neighbouring Smithfield Tavern, which also sees Jo Rose and Melanie Kate adding their own melodies. With street food to enjoy too, this is an all-dayer with all bases covered – entertainment, food and drink, and good times. Although this one’s free entry, advance sign-up is required and tickets are currently on last orders.
