Centred around Pride Weekend, Bangkok Bar & Restaurant are hosting ‘Queer We Are’, a five-day long celebration of LGBT and alternative cultures. Organised fun includes live music, poetry, comedy, workshops, and club nights. Highlights include: an art and music night on the Thursday, and family activities after Saturday’s parade. Sunday night has ‘Swing and Shout’, a Mardi Gras-style party featuring music and an African dance fusion band. Monday night is the ‘after party’, with a short break in the action so people can attend the candlelit AIDS awareness vigil. The bar has a licensed until 6am, and last entry is 5am. What?!! Pride wristbands are not required for entry.
