Common Bar has always tied in an event for wax collectors on Record Store Day and this year they’re on the front line to help those crate diggers with an 8am opening to help out those who have braved the dawn to get those niche releases. RSD also sees the launch of Common’s new collaboration with Cloudwater Brewery and Piccadilly Records – a new beer called  Record Store Day Session IPA which will be available on keg and in cans. Music fans can enjoy 10% off drinks when flashing a receipt from Piccadilly Records. Furthermore, not content with working the busiest day of the year, DJs from Manchester’s finest record shop will be playing all night long alongside live bands (from 5pm) including Wedding, Menage a Trois and Former Bullies. We wish it could be Record Store Day everyday.
