Visit the wonderful Victoria Baths – a former Victorian swimming pool, now more commonly used as a truly incredible events venue – Wednesday 15 September for their annual Heritage Open Day – it’s open house at one of Manchester’s most unique historic buildings. While you are there you can explore the whole building, including three swimming pools, a Turkish Baths and the former Superintendent’s Flat, all beautifully tiled, with stained glass windows and mosaic flooring throughout.

There’s also the chance to visit the exhibition ‘The People’s Water Palace’ to find out more about the people who used to visit, work and live here, the restoration of the building and plans for the future.

Entry to the building is FREE and everyone’s welcome, so just turn up and pop in.
