Mikkeller Tap Takeover at BrewDog
Beloved Danish craft brewery Mikkeller, known as much for its underground-comic-style labels as its is for its diverse beer menu, come to Manchester’s BrewDog this Friday night for a free tap takeover event. The Peter Street bar will be serving up a range of treats including a blueberry sour ale and a Chipotle Chilli spiced porter. Some of these brews have never been poured outside of Denmark, so this is a must-attend for beer nerds.

Women in Art Tour at Manchester Art Gallery
On Saturday afternoon, volunteer guide Deborah Leftwich leads a fascinating special tour of Manchester Art Gallery, focusing in on the gallery’s collection of works by female artists, particularly their exhibition of work from Victorian-era painter Annie Swynnerton, and uses this tour as a launchpad to discuss feminism’s impact on art. At the time of writing, this event is currently sold out, but it’s always worth looking to see if more slots become available on the day.

Bradley Zero at Gorilla
Radio 1 DJ and Rhythm Section label founder Bradley Zero comes to archway venue Gorilla this Saturday night for a free party courtesy of promoters Augmented.
