Lawn Bar Opening at The Klondyke
This new bar opening party in Levenshulme is our first pick for free things to do in Manchester this weekend. The Klondyke is a long-standing local institution, with a firm place in the hearts of the South Manchester community. This Friday, they open up their new outside bar, just in time for the weather getting nice(ish). The new bar will feature a selection of craft beers and exclusive, fancy gins, and for this party they’re pulling out all the stops, with live entertainment and a bouncy castle for the kids.

Vintage and Street Food Market at Royal Mills
Judys Affordable Vintage Fair returns to Royal Mills in Ancoats this Saturday, with a bumper day of distressed chic bargains and lush street food. For the past 13 years, Judys have been running vintage fairs up-and-down the country, aiming to bring together keen-eyed traders – who won’t rip you off – and put them all under one roof. As well as clothes, there’s textiles, jewellery and homeware on offer, as well as a diverse menu of food vendors for when you get peckish. They’re also promising DJs throughout the day to keep your ears full as well as your belly.
Sat 21 Apr, Royal Mills, 17 Redhill Street, Manchester, M4 5BA. 10am – 4pm, www.facebook.com
