Free Vibes x Manchester Live at Band on the Wall
Free Vibes, Band on the Wall’s regular showcase of up-and-coming acts, hooks up with creative network MCR Live this Saturday night, for a special one-off weekend outing bringing the freshest new musicians to the lauded venue’s stage. Gracing the bill are psychedelic quintet Mama Racho, electro-pop four-piece Sequin Sally (pictured), experimental electro duo Yang and beloved local garage punk band Bleach Body.

Killing of a Sacred Deer & The Lobster Screenings at YES
Charles Street venue YES hosts another of its screening afternoons, as part of its Above the Line series, which pairs together quirky films, usually along a loose theme. The two films picked this time are 2015’s The Lobster, and 2017’s Killing of a Sacred Deer – both indie favourites, but with radically different tones.
