Set yourself a block of time for a typeface exhibition by punk author Penny Rimbaud. Tricking The Impossible brings together Rimbaud’s work with book designer Christian Brett, with an extensive poster gallery of typographic tricks and bold challenges in even bolder print. Rimbaud made his name as drummer and keyboardist in influential punk band Crass, so expect anti-establishment slogans throughout – as well as poetry, novels, essays and music. The free public exhibition draws on MMU Special Collections’ archive of material by radical publisher Bracketpress, and can be found on the third floor of the Sir Kenneth Green Library.
