The Makers Market is touring event which has become a mainstay for discerning shoppers in Didsbury, Cheadle, and Knutsford. And this Sunday the market is coming to the Northern Quarter for one of the first of what’s set to be many appearances. Stevenson Square will be host to many artisan sellers from the local area. There will be food, drink, vintage fashions, artworks, crafts, and more. You’ll find award-winning cheeses from Burt’s Blue, photo fusion artworks by Oliver Kersh, and handmade furniture from Faith in Fabric. There’s even retro robots courtesy of Gizmobots. The performers from B-Twist Studio will be providing the entertainment, with hip-hop dance moves and martial arts tricks. Renowned graffiti artist kELzO, who painted the Koffee Pot mural and many other well-known works, will be giving a showcase of his work. The Makers Market returns to the NQ on the second Sunday of December, and if things go well, the organisers hope to carry it on into next year.
