Manchester-raised funk singer Gizelle Smith has announced show at iconic Northern Quarter venue, Band on the Wall. Daughter to a member of The Four Tops, Smith’s natural penchant for performance led to fluency with the trumpet and a centre stage role with The Mighty Mocambos for their debut LP in 2009. She is back in the limelight in 2018 with Ruthless Day, her debut solo album conceived the day she decided to move from the city of her upbringing, so this show marks a purposeful return.
