London-based queer club nigh, Handsome, is coming to XOLO Bar in October. Its usual residence is Islington’s East Bloc, and this will be its Manchester debut. It’s described as a ‘Homo House’ night, but the organisers make it clear that everyone is welcome. On the decks will be Tristan Da Cunha, long-time BacktoBasics resident, plus Homoelectric stalwart, Jamie Bull. Expect underground disco, garage, and Balearic pop, while last but not least is Dave Kendrick, a Hac vet turned Macho City DJ who specialises in strange pop and Chicago house.
