Geek Out: Comic-Con comes to Manchester Central

Of all the things that gets a nerd excited, Comic-Con is the one most likely to make them hyperventilate. Coming to Manchester for one day only, the conference of games, sci-fi, comics, movies, anime and more will attract thousands from around the north-west in search of some geeky goodness. Guests at this year’s event include Warwick David – star of Harry Potter, Star Wars, Willow and, er, An Idiot Abroad 3 – as well as members of the cast from Torchwood (Kai Davis), Merlin (Rupert Young, Eoin Macken) and Young Dracula (Gerran Howell, Clare Thomas, Simon Ludders). There will also be stalls from and events by Nintendo, Koch Media (showing off Saints Row IV), Dance Dance Revolution, Robots Live, with huge sales of collectibles too.
