The Northern Quarter’s Common and Chorlton’s The Beagle are offering a bewildering three hours of happy instead of the standard one, trailblazers that they are. Being sister bars they are also offering very similar deals with 2 cans of delicious Beavertown Neck Oil or Berliner Pilsner for £6 and bottles of prosecco for just £15. The difference in the sibling venues happy hour make up though lies in the cocktail list where you can enjoy two for just a tenner; both offer Gin Brambles, Negronis and Mexican Firing Squad, but Common’s fourth boozy concoction is the Marmalita whereas Beagle goes mediterrenean with an Aperol Spritz. With a 4pm start to this three hours of bliss it’s worth bunking off work early to really get your monies worth.
