Cheshire Wine School is offering fortnightly courses in wine tasting at Gaucho (pictured) in Manchester city centre. The Saturday Wine School aims to teach participants how to taste wine as well as a brief history of wine, common misconceptions, what makes some wines more expensive than others and ‘getting your head around spitting in a room full of people’. The school promises to make people more vino-savvy as a result. The price includes seven wines plus a light Argentine lunch, offering an additional chance to explore the world of food and wine matching.
