Singer songwriter Adam Hender heads to one of Manchester’s most popular – an intimate – venues on Sunday 16 February, for what promises to be one of his most personal shows to date. Hailing from North Wales, Hender’s tender, heartfelt anthems combine traditional songwriting sensibilities with glimmers of soul and Motown gathered from a childhood spent glued to the stereo. Despite being barely in his 20s, this quickly-rising musician has already gathered an enviable fanbase which continues to grow as his shows increase in number. Starting at just 14 years of age, Hender honed his performing skills in local pubs and at various open mic nights, quickly acquiring a roster of raw and emotional songs that tackle themes like relationships, friendships and adventures across North America. The singer’s arrival at The Deaf Institute in mid-February promises to be one of his most memorable – and to celebrate we’re giving away a pair of tickets to see him perform live. To enter, simply fill out the form below before noon on Wednesday 12 February 2020. Good luck!
