Gorge away: Waterside Food Markets return to Lowry Outlet

Following a successful launch last month, Lowry Outlet its welcoming back its burgeoning Waterside Market. Running for one weekend a month until November, it offers two days of artisan shopping out in the open air, supplying the finest, freshest produce from across the North West, prepared by some of the best pop-ups around. Even the snobbiest of foodie will be impressed by the selection of artisan breads (Harvies and Martins Moston), local cheeses (Mrs Kirkhams, Winter Tarn, Derek Priestley), handmade chutney (Cherry Tree), specially selected cuts of meat (Pig & Co, Savin Hill) and pies (Pudding & Pie, The Posh Pork Pie Company) on offer, with loads more beside. Always abuzz with people – and especially in this weather – the markets are a must for anyone who enjoys a good bit of hearty indulgence.
