Of all the recent reformations, that of Grandaddy was met with the most surprise. The Californian band never really broke up as drifted apart as befits their sleepy, almost disinterested country-space-pop sounds. But their laid-back, aching melodies of millennial sadness and mistrust of technology have beautifully stood the test of time. One of only four UK dates and possibly your final chance to share live Grandaddy’s tales of alcoholic robots and broken household appliances before the plug is finally pulled.
