The historic Great Northern Warehouse has teamed up with Art Battle Manchester to celebrate a group of local artists.

Out of the Shed received more than 100 submissions, with eight winning entries ultimately selected by an impressive panel of experienced artists that included illustrator Stan Chow, street artist Qubek, mosaic artist Tracey Carledge and painter Stefanie Trow.

Designed to give local creatives a platform to display their work while helping to build their reputation as an artist, the contemporary exhibition showcasing the work of the eight winners will be displayed for 12 months.

The collection spans a range of mediums, from illustration and digital art to photography and mosaics, all pieces possessing a uniquely personal, emotive story connected to them.

Out of the Shed is free to visit, and is now open on the ground floor of the Great Northern Warehouse. Visit the Great Northern website for more information.
