Salford’s newest public space, Greengate Square, now has a new ‘eco’ coffee booth in the form of independent coffee connoisseurs Grindsmith. Funded by a Kickstarter campaign launched by mobile coffee vendors Peter Gibson and Luke Tomlinson, the booth offers regionally roasted coffee that draws on a range of expertise, such as Coffee Circle and J Atkinson and Co, so as to keep things dynamic and the flavours interesting. Taking the form of an eco-friendly, wood-decked pod, built by Green Retreats, the café offers a space to relax and enjoy good coffee and gluten-free cakes (supplied by Time For Cake) in the city hotspot.

Grindsmith, Greengate Square, Salford, M3 5AS, Mon –Sat 7.30am – 7pm, Sun 9am – 5pm, grindsmith.com
