Good ol’ 2013 was a great year for comedy in Manchester, and a big part of that was the input of Group Therapy who provided a stage for some of the country’s best comedians including Daniel Simonsen, James Acaster, Adam Buxton, Liam Williams and Simon Munnery. A Saturday night comedy show that doesn’t allow stag or hen parties, it has marked itself out as a comedy night for comedy fans, which is apparent in the procurement of the services of Canadian cerebral cannonball Tony Law. Watching Tony Law is like watching no other comedian – he veers wildly from one tangent to the next, never letting the audience’s minds rest. With a vast collection of TV panel appearances under his belt and clutching a host of awards from the comedy world,  Law is a force of nature and one you should try to see as much as possible.
