Continuing their solid run of top comedy nights, the good folk at Group Therapy add Sheeps to their impressive list of headliners that includes Sara Pascoe, Tony Law, James Acaster and many more. If you’ve not heard of Sheeps before then that’s fine, the thing about Group Therapy is that you can unwavering trust in their ability to pick the best acts you might not have heard of. Sheeps are a fairly subversive sketch act that are currently reinventing the practice, much like Manchester Wire favourites Gein’s Family Giftshop -breaking down the art of sketch comedy to earn super fans like Daniel Kitson. Watch the short sketch below to get an idea of their sideways approach to the art. In support will be Jess Fostekew who has recently appeared in Edinburgh smash Knightmare Live and TV show Psychoville. All this held together by Group Therapy favourite Andrew O’Neill, this makes for another great night under the arches of Gorilla – and a fine way for Group Therapy to end another successful year sating the city’s comedy appetite.
