Seeing out the end of February, Grub Food Fair welcome you to their Fairfield Social Club home for a pay day weekend spent celebrating the best street food, and craft beer the city has to offer. This week it’s another exceptional selection of traders, with an abundance of delicious scran to get stuck in to. Fritto will be dishing out their panzerotti on Friday and Saturday, the Italian street food staple of deep fried calzone with your choice of fillings. These range from a classic mozzarella and prosciutto to nutella and mascarpone (because ‘deep fried pizza’ doesn’t already sound sinful enough). Holy Crab return to Grub after a hiatus, bringing back their seafood snacks of fresh oysters and fried crab balls on Saturday, and on Friday Street Cleaver will be wowing us with their Asian inspired dishes, such as a Korean style chicken and kimchi rice bowl. Doh-hut make their Grub debut, and we’re definitely keen to try their crème brûlée flavoured donuts. Sunday is plant-powered, so no meat or diary to be found. That doesn’t mean you wont find something hearty, filling, and good for a hangover though, with Mac Daddies comforting vegan mac and cheese and the Sugar Spun Sisters‘ generously topped sweet waffles.

Fri 23 – Sun 25 Feb, Fairfield Social Club, Archway 6, Temperance Street, Manchester, M12 6HR. FREE, www.grubmcr.com
