Street food event company, Grub, launching a regular food fair later this month. The venue is Runaway Brewery in the up’n’coming NOMA District. Among the vendors this month will be street food mainstays Chaat Cart, whose acclaimed Indian home cooking is vegetarian and gluten-free. No Tacos is a new company that (somewhat counterintuitively) makes fusion tacos inspired by foods from around the globe. Boerewors Roll Bloke specialises in traditional Dutch sausages grilled in the South African style and served on a bun. For dessert, Common bar’s cake makers, Blawd Co. will be on hand with bakes, cakes, and doughnuts. At the bar, Runaway will be showcasing their own wares, including IPAs, pale ale, brown ale, and gingerbread stout. The venue is under a railway arch next to Angel Meadow, just a short walk from Victoria Station.
