Two beloved Mancunian hotspots are teaming up in what is undoubtedly one of our favourite collaborations to come about.
Contact Theatre, which reopened its doors earlier this year, launches their brand new bar and kitchen this week with a little help from street food stalwarts GRUB.
Renown chef, Michael Anderson of Tikka Chance On Me, has also been drafted in to lend his expertise, helping shape the new menu which will be available from Wed 1 Dec.
This will feature both an exciting evening menu including a range of Indian-inspired burgers and small plates such as Sticky Tamarind Wings, as well as a lunchtime menu featuring cold wraps, toasted sandwiches, loaded fries and more. The offering will be ‘fiercely Northern but globally-inspired.’
Local indie breweries will also be showcased across the bar, including the likes of Green Quarter’s Runaway Brewery, Manchester Union, Fierce Beer, and a unique range of cocktails created by GRUB’s in-house mixologists.
Simon Stephens, Head of Commercial & Visitor Experience at Contact, said: “We’re incredibly excited to be working with GRUB on the new Contact Bar Kitchen. This is the final piece in the puzzle following our major refurbishment, and with their inclusive ethic, championing of local independent produce and commitment to sustainability, GRUB are the perfect fit for Contact”
