The Jesus and Mary Chain | Wed 17 Nov

A band who need no introduction, The Jesus and Mary Chain will play the first of two nights at Manchester’s Albert Hall this Wednesday.

With this second date added to overwhelming demand, the chance to see one of the most influential and iconic British bands of all-time is one that is simply too good to miss.

The group will be playing their seminal record, ‘Darklands’ in full and support will come from Rev Magnetic, who feature long-time Mogwai collaborator, musician and author Luke Sutherland.

Manchester Camerata: Festive Happening | Sun 12 Dec

An uplifiting celebration of life will take over the Albert Hall stage next month, as Manchester Camerata—recent collaborators with Hacienda Classical—join forces with acclaimed gospel choir AMC.

Since forming in 1993, AMC has become one of the country’s most loved choirs, performing with the likes of Robbie Williams, Beverley Knight and Russell Watson.

Just in time for the big Christmas countdown, the afternoon promises a rousing rendition of festive and spiritual gospel favourites.
