We’ve picked out several restaurants in and around Manchester where kids can eat for completely free, or for just a quid.
Kids eat free all day from Monday-Friday between until Fri 30 Aug at ever-popular sushi spot, YO! One child gets a free bento box meal deal for every £10 spent on food by an accompanying adult, and a maximum of three children per booking can eat for free.
Kids get three courses and a drink for £1 at Bella Italia, with the purchase of every adult main from 4-6pm, Sun – Weds. On Thursdays, kids eat free all day.
Meals are suitable for 2-11 year olds.
Northern Quarter favourite Yard & Coop will be offering a free meal for kids, featuring their unbeatable buttermilk chicken, with every adult main ordered from Monday to Friday during the school holidays. Available between 12pm-6pm, with lego and crayons also on hand for extra entertainment.
Under 16s get a free kids meal from Morrisons cafes when an adult purchases a meal with a value of £5 or more from either The Breakfasts, Classics or Chippy menus. The offer is available nationwide, all day, every day. The kids meal can be chosen from a range of favourites including chicken nuggets, chips and beans, bangers and mash or mac and cheese, as well as the kids’ pick ‘n’ mix meal deal, which includes a sandwich or toastie, snack and drink.
Kids can eat for £1 in Asda Cafes at any time, seven days a week, with no minimum adult spend required – and they’ve extended the offer to last the whole year having fed over 3 million little ones as part of the scheme.
Beefeater will also be offering free breakfasts for two under 16s with every adult all-you-can-eat breakfast purchased, available throughout the school holidays.
Get a free children’s breakfast with any adult traditional or full breakfast, or a free child’s hot meal or pick ‘n’ mix lunch box with any adult main course at Dobbies Garden Centre in Timperley. This offer is available every day in and includes a free child’s drink. Kids can even enjoy a full Sunday Roast with a £1 additional supplement.
Available every Sunday, for every adult spending more than £10 at The Real Greek, kids under 12 get a free meal, along with a drink and an ice cream or sorbet.
Running from Mon 22 Jul-Fri 30 Aug (excluding weekends), Bill’s lets up to two kids eat free when any adult orders a main dish at breakfast, lunch or dinner. Children’s Menu meals include buttermilk pancakes, macaroni cheese and fish fingers and chips.
Every Sunday throughout the summer holidays and beyond, kids can enjoy a main and dessert completely free, or even Kala’s delicious mini roast beef Sunday Dinner. The offer applies to one child under the age of 12 for each paying adult when ordering a main.
TGI Fridays is giving away a free kid’s meal whenever you order an adult’s main, available all day, everyday, once you’ve signed up to become a Stripes Member.
Available from Fri 26 Jul-Sun 8 Sep, Manchester’s Brewdog locations serve a free kid’s meal with every adult main, with options ranging from DIY pizzas to cheese toasties. Simply pre-book with the note ‘kids eat free’.
For those looking to take their children on a big city adventure during the summer holidays, Hyatt Regency is offering the perfect offer for hungry children!
Available until Sat 31 Aug, adults enjoying a two-course meal within the Graduate Bar and Laureate restaurant will receive a free meal for children under 10 years old.
