Ahir Shah headlines a top night at XS Malarkey, Mick Ferry helps The Comedy Store take over Stoller Hall and The Jain Edwards Show has a special guest appearance from Alasdair Beckett-King.
With only three episodes in the can, The Jain Edwards Show already feels like must-see television. That is of course if it was broadcast anywhere and not just a live multi-media experience of stand-up, interviews and Foxdog Studios as house band. Like no other night in the city, this weekend they further boast a special guest appearance from Alasdair Beckett-King.
As their home on Deansgate Locks undergoes refurbishment The Comedy Store has been making people laugh inside Freight Island with its makeshift club night on a Tuesday, but they’ve now added to that with a series of special takeovers at The Stoller Hall. A stunning theatre built as part of Chetham’s Music School, The Stoller Hall stage is set to host some of the best stand-ups around to befit any weekend comedy club with this instalment featuring Mick Ferry, Tez Ilyas, Brennan Reece and Ria Lina.
