There’s sensational lineups all over the place this week including Dane Baptiste in the Baths, Richard Todd at XS and Lloyd Griffith in Withy.

Richard Todd at XS Malarkey | Tue 24 May | 7.30pm | £6/3

As you might expect from a comedian who is also credited as a writer and illustrator, Richard Todd makes stand-up into artful flights of fancy. Equal parts absurd and heartfelt, Todd is an intelligent and very funny man that’s more than worth his headline slot at XS Malarkey. There’s also a treat in the support as David Stanier brings his unique brand of playful silliness to The Bread Shed stage.

The Bread Shed, 126 Grosvenor Street, Manchester M1 7HL
Dane Baptiste at Bath Bombs | Wed 25 May | 8pm | £15

Although Dane Baptiste is listed as the headline act, you could comfortably list any of the spectacular lineup as such at this month’s Bath Bombs Comedy Club. This midweek night also boasts the considerable comedic talents of Maisie Adam and Alfie Brown, all held together in the capable hands of Chorley’s favourite son Jim Meehan. Get more than a midweek lift with this ridiculously good bill.

Victoria Baths, Hathersage Rd, Manchester M13 0FE
Lloyd Griffith at Dead Comics Society | Sun 29 May | 8pm | £6

It’s a first birthday party for Withy Public Hall’s monthly comedy night and they’ve got Grimsby choirboy-cum-comedian Lloyd Griffith and amiable firebrand Ian Stone to help them celebrate. Always a great way to end a week, this extra special double headline show will be much more palatable knowing it comes before a three day week. Something to be truly jubilant about.
