Josie Long returns to The Lowry with Re-Enchantment, Freya Parker and Jack Lewis Evans have previews at Arch 12 and there’s Femmes and Thems at The Frog.
More comedy double bills in the former railway arch of Runaway Brewery as Freya Parker and Jack Lewis Evans (as Barry Shafto) head to the temporary home of A Lovely Time on Dantzic Street. Both comics are fresh off the back of sell out shows at Mach Fest in Wales and promise a fresh take on stand-up, be it Evans as paranormal exterminator Barry Shafto and Freya Parker’s solo outing after huge success with sketch duo Lazy Susan.
Fresh off a couple of months entertaining the people of Australia with tours and festival appearances Josie Long is back on home soil and headed to The Lowry for another run of her latest work Re-Enchantment. A joyous performer, Long wears her heart on her sleeve and seems re-energised by this latest hour. An absolute tour-de-force.
