Helen Bauer headlines XS Malarkey, Kate-Lois Elliott presents her debut tour at Creatures and The Laughienda gifts us free laughs during a thrifty January.
More midweek pick-me-ups here courtesy of Manchester’s premier free comedy club The Laughienda this Wednesday night. Now in their fifth year of operation they always book in a heap of fresh talent mixed with old pros trying out new material to a crowd of comedy savvy regulars. Make yourself one of them.
After a sellout run at Edinburgh Fringe, Kate-Lois Elliott brings her award-winning, critically acclaimed debut hour to Creatures. In ‘How To Belong Without Joining a Cult’, Elliott looks at her own mother’s involvement in a secretive cult and her own seduction by the clutches of an equally militant operation, teenage girls.
