Jessica Fostekew brings her latest WIP to XS Malarkey, Amy Annette does likewise at GRUB and there’s a heck of a lineup at Bitches In Stitches on Friday.
Friday night stand-up shows in the heart of the Northern Quarter might fill most comedy fans with absolute dread but there’s a wonderful thing going on at The Fitzgerald once a month. Natalia Schwarz hosts Bitches in Stitches with a heck of a lineup of female comics including Kim Smith, Steph Bradshaw, Katie Mitchell and more. All for the low, low price of £5.37. That’s less than a pint! Less than a half in some NQ spaces too!
Amy Annette returns to Manchester with a brand new show only a couple of months after her critically-acclaimed debut tour. Nominated for Best New Show at Leicester Comedy Festival, Busy Body covers her love of gossip and knowing other people’s business while preferring to share absolutely nothing about her own self. One of the most joyous comedians to spend an hour with, we can’t recommend her highly enough.

Opposite ends of the Edinburgh Fringe experience double up at XS Malarkey this week with previews from Jessica Fostekew and Ayo Adenekan. Fostekew is a Fringe veteran by now, with a nomination for Best Show under her belt as well as appearances on Live at The Apollo and countless other TV shows, whereas Ayo Adenekan is doing his debut at this year’s festival and is tipped for all the milestones Jess has already hit.
