More previews incoming from award-winning comedians as we’re treated to the likes of Olga Koch, Jordan Brookes and Josh Jones.

Olga Koch & Seymour Mace at XS Malarkey | Tue 23 Jul | 7pm | £6/3

XS Malarkey starts a little early this week but it’ll be worth setting your alarms for a double bill this good. Olga Koch brings her new show Comes From Money, her most personal show yet as she delves into the darkest parts of her family history and turns up fascinating and hilarious insights on class and belonging. Seymour Mace is the second half of the double bill and promises some wonderful, inventive madcap fare for you to sink your teeth into.

Josh Jones at GRUB | Wed 24 Jul | 7.30pm | £8

Manchester’s new favourite comedy son Josh Jones returns for another outing of his new show ahead of his Fringe run the week after. Jones looks at the past to fashion a show inspired by his love of history and the ways you can use that knowledge to make people feel uncomfortable in the present. Josh is a delight when discussing the Tudors, Stewarts or his own promiscuous deeds.

Roast Battle League at Frog & Bucket | Wed 24 Jul | 8pm | £10

This week Manchester’s Roast Battle League goes international as two of Scotland’s finest roasters in Jack Traynor and Ryan Cullen cross the border to take on the best of Manchester in Jordan Ducharme and Eddie Fortune. For those that like their comedy with a fair bit of bite, there’s no better spot than the Frog for their monthly showdowns and there are seven bouts in total tonight.

Jordan Brookes at Creatures | Fri 26 Jul | 7.45pm | £7

The Creatures Comedy Festival continues this week with a whole host of amazing previews and finished shows (do go and check some out here) but the pick of the bunch is Jordan Brookes’ Fontanelle this Friday. We saw an early preview of this earlier this year and it was shaping up to be an absolute masterpiece. As we get closer to the Fringe we can’t wait to see its almost final form. Brookes is always a must-see.
