Edinburgh Preview Season hots up as Sophie Duker and Alex Kealy go head to head with Phil Ellis and Heidi Regan on Tuesday and Comedy For Hot People hosts another stellar lineup headlined by Allyson June Smith.
On that very same night you can also choose to watch Phil Ellis and Heidi Regan trot out their new works in progress at the Frog and Bucket on Oldham Street. Two of the absolute best with very varied styles, it really depends on your geography in the city centre as to which pair of previews you want to take in. We certainly couldn’t choose.
Comedy For Hot People continues to pack its evenings at The Fitzgerald with an array of the hottest comics spanning the next big things to the seasoned pros. This week sees Canadian stand-up Allyson June Smith headline a bill that also features rising star Raj Poojara to solidify this as a night that’s hot by name and by nature.

Recent Taskmaster champion Sophie Duker and Mock The Week writer Alex Kealy will be at XS Malarkey for another delightful double of Edinburgh previews. Kealy presents new show Winner Takes All; a scathing and satirical look at Silicon Valley tech monopolies, advertising and addiction whereas Sophie Duker’s new show is about growing older, wiser and “gleefully not caring anymore”.
