Some Ronseal-esque show naming from Manchester’s favourite comedy daughter here as Rachel Fairburn and some of her stand-up friends do indeed try some new material. Joining Rachel this month will be Will Duggan, Erika Ehler and Josh Pugh. What a treat.

Lou Conran and Zahra Barri at Dead Comics Society | Sun 27 Feb | 8pm | £6

This will be the ninth meeting of the ‘Dead Comics Society’ and they’ve decided to hand over the reigns to a couple of excellent comedians and their new work in progress shows. Lou Conran and Zahra Barri will be in residence at the Withington Public Hall Institute this Sunday to end your week with some excellent stand-up.
