Rhys James (Live at The Apollo, Mock The Week) has a new book out, and in order to promote it, he’s roping in his comedy friends to interview him. So far, he’s seen the likes of Lolly Adefope and John Kearns asking incredibly personal questions only they would know, and for Manchester’s Q&A, he’ll be chatting with Ivo Graham this Wednesday. A treat to have both on the stage at the same time.
Molly McGuinness and Paul Campbell return from hugely successful runs at the Edinburgh Fringe, which saw Molly gather a nomination for Best Newcomer and Paul awarded the Malcolm Hardee Award for Comic Originality. So what are they doing to celebrate? Why, trying random foodstuffs they’ve picked up at Herons, of course. In this mad quasi-musical-cum-cooking show, Molly & Paul really do try Heron Foods, and it’s hilarious, award-winning/nominated stuff.

Salford University’s New Adelphi Theatre plays host to more Suspiciously Cheap comedy this Monday, courtesy of alumni Kiri Pritchard-McLean and sketch group Tarot. For this instalment of their ridiculously inexpensive evening of stand-up, they’ve roped in Lucy Beaumont, Amit Mistry and Chris Cantrill, and at just £5 you should book immediately off the back of any one of those names.
