Self appointed snowflake sanctuary Blizzard Comedy has its first live outing of the year with a special appearance from North East funnyman Rahul Kohli in the headline spot. There is plenty of support from the diverse lineup including Sophie G Collins, Edward Roworth, Thom Bee and guest host Bobbie Jones. Free at point of entry with donations accepted.

Tony Vino’s Monday night treat of an evening returns this week with another great lineup of stand-up comedy at a reasonable price. International comedy star Dana Alexander is joined by another Geordie jokester in Pat Monahan, all ably held together by the effervescent Vino.

If you like your comedy a bit more fiery then Jordan Ducharme and Michael Mannion’s new venture at Sevenoaks ‘Roast at the Oaks’ might be more to your liking. Some of the city’s best and brightest will be going head to head in a ‘no jokes barred’ smackdown of pretty epic proportions. The roasts will be judged by James Heath and BBC Comedy Award Finalist Molly McGuinness as well as incorporating an audience vote. So head down and make a difference.
