Dan Tiernan and Molly McGuinness at Withy Public Hall | Sat 29 Oct | 4pm | £5

Two of the city’s most promising young comics split an hour of stand-up as Dan Tiernan and Molly McGuinness take to the Withy Public Hall stage for West Didsbury Comedy Festival this weekend. Treat yourself to a bit of afternoon delight as this deadly double bill kicks off at 4pm and is guaranteed to give you some good belly laughs before you have your tea. Molly and Dan are both names you should be keeping an eye on for the future and this is a great chance to get in at the ground floor.

Chloe Petts at Withy Public Hall | Sun 30 Oct | 2.30pm | £8

Another rising star rocking up to Withy Public Hall this weekend is Chloe Petts as she brings her debut show ‘Transience’ for West Didsbury Comedy Festival. Fresh from supporting Ed Gamble on his UK Tour, Petts uses her trademark cerebral “laddishness” to explore topics as far reaching as the darts and her (strictly non-romantic) love for the men who watch it. Chloe’s show starts at 2.30pm and is only £8 but you can get a day pass for the festival for £20 and catch the likes of Sara Barron and the future talents at the WDCF’s New Comedian of the Year competition later that Sunday.
