Sharon Wanjohi headlines XS Malarkey, Jamali Maddix is back at Fairfield Social Club and Hannah Platt hosts The Glitter Project at The Frog.
After a sell out performance late last month, Jamali Maddix is back with an extra show of latest output ‘Aston’. Ostensibly his most personal show to date, Maddix gets real in his own inimitable way, dropping truth bombs all over the shop and caring not a jot for the fallout. It’s thrilling fun and Maddix is a master at the top of his game.
Hannah Platt presents an afternoon show packed with new and experienced acts at The Glitter Project this Sunday. A joint venture from Women In Comedy and Funny Women billed as ‘a lovely afternoon show supporting women in comedy on their journey’, it promises to be just that, and with the ever reliable dark and light shades of Hannah Platt at the helm it’s a great way to get some afternoon laughs at a reasonable price.

Sharon Wanjohi will be taking her debut hour to the Edinburgh Fringe this summer and there is already a lot of buzz for the comedian who has appeared on the likes of The Stand Up Sketch Show and Comedy Central Live. Here, she’ll present ‘In The House’ attempting to fix the world’s problems with her own self help book. The first of an excellent run of previews at XS.
