The Lockdown Arms: Muddy Elephant | Facebook | Mon 4 May | 7.30pm - 8.30pm

The Lockdown Arms have been bringing livestreamed entertainment throughout lockdown, and this week they’re streaming a gig from Muddy Elephant, an alternative indie rock band from Chesire. The evening will feature a performance from frontman Sam Passey, along with an interview hosted by Rob Smith.

Morning Yoga Class | Facebook | Tue 5 May | 8am - 9am

Get your day off to a great start with a morning flow yoga session from Katie, a Manchester-based yoga instructor. The session is suitable for all levels and payment is based on what you can afford – it is free to tune in, but you can donate when booking your place to help support Katie’s business at this difficult time when classes can’t run normally.

Lancey Foux at Soup Kitchen | Facebook | Tue 5 May | 7pm - 10pm

Soup Kitchen are back with another live-streamed gig – this time, East London rapper Lancey Foux will broadcast a concert hosted on Soup Kitchen’s social media platforms. Tune in if you’re missing regular live music from the iconic venue.

The Stoller Hall Birthday Concert Livestream | Facebook & YouTube | Tue 5 May | 7pm - 8pm

It’s the Stoller Hall’s third birthday, and on Tuesday they’re celebrating with a livestreamed virtual concert, hosted by BBC Radio 3 presenter Tom Redmond. There’ll be broadcasts of previous live performances and concerts that have taken place in the hall, and it will be streaming on their Facebook page and Youtube channel from 7pm.

Pop Punk Party from Salt Sweat Sugar | Facebook | Thu 7 May | 9pm - 1am

Manchester’s resident pop punk party night Salt Sweat Sugar are hosting a live internet party on Thursday night, playing loads of classic pop punk along with staple party tunes. Expect to hear Jimmy Eat World alongside Kendrick Lamar and Lizzo – turn your speakers up, grab a couple of drinks and enjoy a proper party right in your own home.

Salford Arms Virtual Open Mic | Facebook | Thu 7 May | 7pm

On Thursday at 7pm, The Salford Arms will host their weekly musicians open mic, now in a virtual format. Performers livestream their performances to the Bread Social facebook group, so you can tune in there and keep on top of the best local talent.

Night of the Living Dead – Remix from imitating the dog

Theatre company imitating the dog have put a handful of their show recordings on their website for anyone to watch at home. Night of the Living Dead – Remix was due to be performed right here in Manchester at HOME this year, but this has sadly been cancelled – make sure to catch it while it’s streaming so you don’t miss out!
