Get geared up for the festivities with this Christmas quiz at the Woodstock pub in West Didsbury. This seasonal iteration of their quiz, promises all the general knowledge and trivia you can hope for, along with cash prizes to be won. Booking a table ahead of time is recommended, as this is likely to sell out.

Boxing Day Walk at Clifton Country Park (pictured) | Thu 26 Dec | 10am - 12pm

The Salford Ranger Team host this free walk on boxing day morning around Clifton Country park. Leaving from the park’s visitor centre, the 5km route takes you round the park highlighting the natural beauty, impressive local wildlife and the park’s historical Wet Earth Colliery. This walk is free to attend, but the rangers will be collecting donations for Bolton Mountain Rescue Team.

Boxing Day Beerswap at BrewDog | Thu 26 Dec | 3pm - 1am

We all like getting something boozy for Christmas, but sometimes – bless ‘em – our relatives just don’t quite understand our tastes. Get something you really want this boxing day at BrewDog’s boxing day bottle swap, where you can exchange your Christmas bevvies with other people. Everyone who manages a successful swap will also be rewarded with a £10 drinks voucher.
