Get yourself over to Salford’s Albert Park this Saturday for a wholesome family day out at the community Summer Fun Fair.
With heaps of exciting activities including the likes of bouncy castles, free rides, face painting, DJs, dancing and stacks of free food and drinks – this is shaping up to be a great one.
With the theme, “Together in the Community as one”, this is a great opportunity to unite and throw your support behind such an admirable cause.
Coming to one of the Northern Quarter’s buzziest spots this Saturday is the Miss Chief Cabaret, dubbed as “Queer cabaret for all the fashion rats”.
The evening will be filled with brilliant performances, look forward to the likes of songbird Sharon Le Grand, the every-harmonious Laurie, the villainous Narcissa Nightshade alongside the notorious DJ, Monopoly Phobic – just to name a few.
Calling all young people! Working in collaboration with The Proud Trust and akt, head to YES this Sunday for an evening bursting with stellar events – perfect for meeting like-minded people in a safe space created just for younger members of the community.
Featuring Thirsty Girls DJs, placard-making workshops, a glitter bar, Vogue tutorials, mindfulness jewellery making, meditation sessions and so much more – this is definitely one you do not want to miss!
Head to one of Salford’s coolest spaces, Islington Mill, for QUEERCORE – where workshop meets jam. Presented by Fatty Acid and The Niallist, the event is proposed to be for the people who are “too loud for the queers and too fruity for the punks”.
A full day of workshops, music, jamming and performance – this is definitely how you want to be ending your week.
