As part of the Muslim Arts and Culture Festival (MACFEST), The Whitworth is hosting a wonderful all-day programme of activities geared towards showcasing and celebrating the various artistic works of local Muslim female artists.
Whether you get involved in henna painting, art exhibitions, marble painting, calligraphy workshops, film screenings, poetry or more—there is definitely something for everyone down at The Whitworth this Saturday.
Ready to start the first month of Spring in style is a fantastic exhibition happening over at the Whitefield Garrick Theatre as part of the Springwater Sketchbook Walks project.
The impressive theatre space, run by local theatre enthusiasts, will be home to a whole array of artwork produced by those who have attended the Sketchbook Walks programme. Combining creativity, community and the exploration of nature this exhibition is the perfect place to be this weekend.
