Start the weekend festivities a little earlier this week at NAM’s buzzing basement – AKA an audiophile-lover’s heaven.

Specialising in raga-based music, NTS radio selector, Sway Of The Verses, is set to take over the downstairs bar and will be spinning a whole plethora of sounds including Punjabi folk, Indo-Jazz and lo-fi ambient vibes all the way to hip-hop and electronic bangers.

Head to the Central Library for the exhibition launch of Untold Stories, a project by Holding Her Space, which focuses on the heart-wrenching journeys of Black and Brown parents as they navigate the unforgiving realities of maternity in the modern UK.

The session includes an overview of the entire heritage project, a taster of the theatre production coming up later this year as well as some music and refreshments to wash it all down.
