Head down to the People’s History Museum this weekend and join a spectacular march through time, traversing the journeys of rights and equality in Britain. Covering the most memorable moments and groundbreaking events of the past—the museum’s 2022 Banner Exhibition explores history in a brand new and totally immersive way.

Featuring the Nuclear Disarmament banner from the 80s, the Withington Against the Poll Tax banner from the 90s and, from all the way back in 1910, the Suffrage Atelier banner.

If you like your Young Adult Thrillers then author Cynthia Murphy’s brand-new book, WIN, LOSE, KILL, DIE is definitely going to be next on your reading list. Featuring a secondary school slasher—the tale invites readers to immerse themselves into Morton Academy and attempt to figure out who this lethal figure is.

With a wine reception, the lovely opportunity to meet the author herself and even get a copy of the book signed—be sure to head to the University Green and end the working week a little bit differently this Friday.

Hosted by 53two, be amazed by this incredible musical concert, JULIE, which follows the amazing life and times of the historical and iconic LGBTQ+ figurehead, Julie D-Aubigny. Following all her mayhem and chaotic adventures, this musical goes deep into Julie’s life covering her many escapades including burning down convents, seducing nuns and duelling men.

Set to hit the renowned Edinburgh Fringe Festival 2022 as the headlining performance, be sure to see this production in Manchester while you still can!

Go Bouldering | Depot Climbing Manchester | Thurs 20 Jan | 6.30pm-8.30pm
