Ever wanted to give Latin dancing a spin? Now’s your chance as Factory International is hosting a social dance class set to a live soundtrack from DJ Yayo, who is well known for his Latin mixes.
Street Symphony is a regular series celebrating cultures steeped in tradition, community and artistic expression, all about highlighting dance and music genres that infuse the streets and public spaces of cities worldwide with vibrancy and creativity.
The new Rainy Heart pop-up bar and event space is hosting a free party under the Kampus Bungalow, with an intimate follow-on upstairs until 1am this Saturday.
While the line-up for this event is still being kept under wraps, the last Bungalow party saw the likes of Luke Una, Ruf Dug, Nossa, Ben Arnold, and Psychederek tear it up on the decks, so you know it’s going to be a good’un.
Sounds from the Other City is back this Bank Holiday Sunday and they’ve got a jam-packed line-up spread across some of Salford’s most buzzing venues – including Bexley Square.
Those who live in the Bexley Square area and friends will get free entry into the square’s grooving festivities with the likes of Porta, The New Oxford and Y2 Cafe framing the scenes if you find yourself peckish or in need of a bev.
