From pop quizzes to summer fairs, here’s our guide for the best free things to do in Manchester this week…
Head over to Common’s coolest suburban cousin The Beagle this Tuesday.

For the brand-new launch of their new and improved cocktail menu, The Font in Chorlton are giving away 100 free cocktails this Thursday evening.
Kicking off at 7pm, be sure to download The Font app to secure your bevs. The offer is first come first served so be sure to get there early!
Perfect for a post-work drink or a precursor to an even bigger night out, check out Chorlton’s gem of a cocktail bar and kick back with a cocktail that won’t hurt your wallet.
Start your weekend right over at the Pink Room in Yes this Friday evening. For a full night of alternative dance tunes and a stacked line-up of ace DJs – this will not disappoint.
Spinning the likes of Overmono, Bicep, Pinkpantheress, Four Tet, Peggy Gou, DJ Koze, Kaytranada, Leon Vynehall and heaps more – Hold Tight will have you grooving into the early hours of the morning.
Check out Altrincham’s A4 Studios for a whole weekend-long summer festival. Featuring local, makers, crafters, artists and traders; this is a great way to see for yourself the creative talent of the city whilst supporting local small businesses.
Whether you have a peruse, pick up some bits or hang out in A4 Studio’s on-site cafe with a selection of summer cocktails and afternoon teas – this is definitely the place to go this weekend.
