Head to the launch party of The Cruel Tutelage of Piqué Roscoe at über cool Ancoats venue, The Hip Hop Chip Shop for some cracking live performances celebrating the brand new LP from Piqué Roscoe & Kuartz.

Happening on the day of release, the North Manchester native will be performing tracks off his album with support from Conduit & some other groovy DJs. With vinyl available to purchase on the night, you never know, this could end up being the newest addition to your hip-hop record collection.

In search of a show for getting your little ones into that festive spirit? Look no further as Bolton Library is putting on a fantastic performance, following the story of how two of Santa’s elves helped to save Christmas. Suitable for ages five and up, the plot follows Ethel and Gingerbread who happen upon a struggling shoe shop and a new friend, Jemima who needs their help.

A tale of friendship, bravery and how even the littlest action can change someone’s life for the better—this one is bound to get everyone into a Christmassy mood. Expect mischief, music and lots of madness…

A Festival of Nine Lessons and Carols | Manchester Cathedral | Wed 22 Dec | 7.30pm-9.30pm

Get ready for Manchester Cathedral’s annual festival of Nine Lessons and Carols done in proper Manchester style. Soak in the sights at this historic Mancunian stronghold for an evening of stellar music brought to you by the Cathedral’s nationally renowned choir.

Paired with traditional readings to really set the festive celebrations—this event is sure to capture the spirit of Christmas like no other.
