This Wednesday, Ramona Radio will welcome some of Manchester’s most adventurous selectors alongside Parisian producer, DJ and Rinse FM resident, Teddy Kitano.
Gauteng-born SNO, now based in Manchester, weaves South African hip-hop, Congolese rumba, Egyptian jazz and Brazilian boogie into eclectic, globally inspired sets. She is joined by Old Trafford’s Katbrownsugar — DJ, singer and producer — whose blend of neo-soul, hip-hop and future beats has earned her international acclaim.
Liz-zie will take things up a notch, bringing bassy sounds, UK garage, grime and house. Before Teddy Kitano closes the night, traversing sounds of jungle, afro-bass, and ghetto-tech.
Head to CUPRA City Garage this Wednesday for the venue’s latest Speakeasy Session, which will see Queens of Tomorrow join forces with Ultimate Performance for an exclusive evening of wellness, fitness, and empowerment.
Hosted by Gemma Krysko, this inspiring session explores the transformative benefits of weight lifting for women—focusing on strength, mindset, and lifestyle.
The magic of Christmas is set to arrive in Salford this week with the launch of the spectacular Let it Snow Show on Thursday which will see visitor invited to step into a winter wonderland as the area outside The Lowry Hotel transforms into a snowy scene, with snowfall every day to mark the most wonderful time of the year, with a guest appearance from actress Brooke Vincent, who will be turning on the display.
To celebrate the launch, guests will be treated to complimentary hot chocolate with Hotel Chocolat providing some of their new velvetiser creams, festive drinks, and mince pies, accompanied by enchanting live choir performances that capture the spirit of the season.
Following the launch, snow will continue to fall each lunchtime and evening, forming part of The Lowry Hotel’s stunning Christmas decor installation, creating a magical experience for visitors throughout the festive period.
End your week with some wholesome festive fun over at Factory International. Led by singer and music director Lizzie Simms, the Factory House Choir is all about bringing people together to enjoy some feel-good singing — it’s free to join, is unauditioned, and you don’t need to be able to read music.
